Didn't really know where to post this... You know the whole John Lomax hate article issue? I posted a response to it and the only reason I'm telling you and here is because it's relative to this.

Just lost a co-worker to suicide. If there was only a way that he could have known about the resources available.I hope that you all are able to help someone, to keep them from making the forever decision

Well fuck.  I'm sorry James. :(  I actually have had this experience as well. A foreman of mine, Louis Papai, had worked for Ultra-Wall well before I was hired in 98.  He always seemed upbeat. No indication to us that something was very wrong and I/we/the office talked to him daily. One day I walk in to my office and Larry has tears. 1 of the only 2 times I've ever seen him cry in the almost 13 years I've known him.  Papai (he didn't like his first name so we called him by his last name), who had no wife and lived alone, had hung himself, found by his adult son after no contact had been made for 2 days.  We still don't know exactly what it was that broke that last straw. One always wonders what different impact could have been made if you just *fill in the blank*.

Anyway, I'm sorry James. :(

Thanks April. His funeral was Tuesday. I couldnt stay, hearing his kids crying and seeing his wife was just too fucking much for me. My only hope is that everyones eyes were opened up to the devestation that suicide causes in so many lives.

The book is fantastic. I've printed a couple copies and mailed them to interested individuals.
