So I finally heard from Signal Peak Energy in Montana. The are a coal mine using section and longwall mining to get the coal out. The want to interview me for a position… they want to FLY me to Billings for it… thats right FLY me out the interview.  So sometime in the next 2 weeks I will be flying to Billings for a job interview… I really hope to get the job……It would be amazing!!!

Found out more today from Signal Peak. Not only are they going to fly me out for the interview...... They are putting me up in a hotel, AND getting me a rental car. So... if you add it up... its close to $1000 for someone they "might" hire....I dont think so... everyone ive talked to said they are desperate for good help... and if they are willing to spend that kind of cash... just to interview me??? I think I have the job. But I wont get my hopes up.... just to keep myself from getting "smashed" if they dont offer me a position.


Oh yeah... and they start out at 23 an hour!!! probably close to 25 for me due to my experience!!!

So its been a week since my interview at Signal Peak in Montana. I have yet to hear anything from them. I knew that there may not be a position for me since it was just an interview.. but I thought the interview went really well. I need to figure out whats wrong with me........

Or just chillax and wait.  It sometimes takes a bit to get the ball rolling.  There may have been other interviewees and they have to sift through everything.

Yeah, I guess 3 years experience in the position they were looking to fill wasnt enough. The job in Montana is a no-go. Trying soem other things out.... but will definitely be losing the house.Not sure where we are going... but im sure we will find somewhere to live.  :-[

You'll find something James. It has been harder and harder to find good jobs these days.

I've been thinking (with the help of my sweet Martie of course) that I need to find a man a little bit older than me. I have been having the worst time with younger guys. Not way younger than me as I am only thirty, but it seems that if they are under 30 they don't really want to have a relationship with me. I don't want to find a guy super old, just one who is less young. Now that I've thought about it, I kind of need to make it happen.

Nattie, you do not NEED to find a guy.  You will find a great guy.  You're hot, smart and funny... sure, maybe you're a bitch from time to time... but seriously, if a woman isn't a bit of a bitch she really isn't worth being with.  I hope you find someone great though.

So my decision has been made... I am going to take a class and get my CDL... seems that there is alot of money in trucking, about 80% of the ads I see in the "help wanted" section of the paper are for trucking jobs. So who knows... I might end up in your neck of the woods sometime...LOL
