I am worried. I am concerned for my profession. My hope is that captialism prevails within healthcare despite this legislation. The right says it won't. The left says it will. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle...which also scares me. I love my job(s). I love my insurance. I don't want either to be fucked with.

....i love the fact that im healthy and rarely need to see a dr. with the exception of the broken arm i havent been to a dr in about 12yrs. and the only time i had to go (staph infection) i paid $225cash. i had the option of medical insurance thru my job at the time adn co-workers were all like 'see if you had insurance you wouldnt have had to pay that' blahblahblah untill i added it all up and i would have paid over $3K in premiums to date for services i never used.

even now, with the broken arm, if i had to pay an acceptable amount for it and not deal with insurance company's i probably would. but w/the invention of "insurance" and bloated prices there is no 'fair price' for health coverage anymore.

now dental....dont get me started. id have been dead w/o dental insurance but once again the insurance companies have jacked up all the prices.
